1. Our goal
We want everyone to be able to use Applied Academy. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA, which covers the Norwegian rules (WCAG 2.0 AA) and the European standard EN 301 549.
2. How we check
This statement is based on our own checks while building the site: use with a keyboard, visible focus, colour contrast, text alternatives for images, headings and page structure, zoom to 200 % and use on phones. No independent audit has been done yet.
3. What we know is not perfect
- Some course material in our learning platform comes from other publishers, such as imported course packages. It may not meet every requirement, for example captions on video.
- The learning platform runs on Moodle, and the payment pages are made by Stripe and Paddle. We set them up with care, but we do not control all of their design.
- The pages for staff and teachers have not been checked as closely as the public pages and the pages for learners.

If something is hard to use, or you need content in another format, email support@appliedacademy.io. Tell us the page and what went wrong. We answer within 5 working days.
