Cancel a purchase

Here is when you can cancel a course you bought and what you get back. You can cancel a purchase below.

Self-paced courses

Right to cancel: As a consumer you can cancel within 14 days of the day you bought, for a full refund. You do not have to say why.
Starting early: At checkout, a separate box asks whether you want us to start delivering the course before the 14 days end. If you tick it, the right to cancel ends the first time you open the course. Until then you can still cancel for a full refund. We confirm your choice by email.
Pre-orders: If you buy a course before it opens, the 14 days count from the day you bought, not from the opening day.

Right to cancel: As a consumer you can cancel within 14 days of the day you bought. Before the course starts, you get the full price back. If you asked at checkout for the course to start within the 14 days and it has started, you pay for the part delivered before you told us, and get the rest back.
Cancelling later: After the 14 days, it depends on how long before the first session you tell us. 14 days or more: a full refund. 7 to 13 days: 50 % back, or one free move to another date or to another course at the same or a lower price; you choose. Under 7 days: no refund, but someone else can take your seat at no cost.
If we cancel: If we cancel a course date, you get a full refund. Ask us if you would rather move to another date.
Your legal rights: This schedule comes on top of your right to cancel and never reduces it.

Something wrong?: If a course is faulty, is not as described, or you cannot get in, or you were charged twice, report it in your payment history at any time. Losing the right to cancel does not take away these rights.
Business purchases: The right to cancel is for consumers. It does not apply when you buy for your business. The instructor-led schedule above still applies.
Your money back: We confirm by email that we received your cancellation. If you use your right to cancel, we refund you without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your notice, to the payment method you used unless you agree otherwise. There is no refund fee. A refund for a double charge does not affect your access; any other refund ends your access to that course only.
